But I thought Hotspot is infallible?

Was enough doubt as to where that spot on his inside edge came from to give that not, tbh.

Bizarre. There was a mark there...

(Although I do think it hit pad first... just - either way there was doubt)

Lol no-one is telling me that from the tv evidence, he definitely did not hit that.

These umpires just don't help themselves sometimes. :@

The mark on the bat is too small and bright to be from touching the pad. Definitely edged it. Stupid decision.

Yeah, it's odd. If the bat hit the pad then I think there'd be a bigger mark than the one that was there; it was either an inside edge or typical HotSpot random thing. Really starting to think we should do away with HotSpot tbh.

unless the on field ump told the 3rd ump that he didn't have any question over an inside edge and it was about height/line I don't like this
