It is actually. If you're ever down this way, it's well worth a visit. Hobart is a very pretty town, lots of history around Port Arthur (some of it all too recent and sad) and if you bring your sticks you have to play Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm at Bridport. They're both rated in the top 50 golf courses in the world.Tasmania sounds lovely.
That's great. Good to see the players and umps having a giggle together.Pup sledges ump in the nets | Cricket | Fox Sports
Aleem Dar must've heard there are bowling spots up for grabs...
Two headed locals I can handle, golf not so much.It is actually. If you're ever down this way, it's well worth a visit. Locals have two heads though.
So it is, bloody hell. This is the first time Australia have won the toss and bowled first in a test match since this game: 2nd Test: England v Australia at Birmingham, Aug 4-7, 2005 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo
No pitch can possibly be that green. So it is, bloody hell.
Is this pitch so bowler-friendly that even Ponting wouldn't have batted? Then we know what we're looking at is not so much a greentop as a lawn.
I'll be watching the first session, I expect carnage in the first hour.I was going to watch the first session but seeing as Vettori is out it is basically game over already in my eyes. Greentop and a brittle batting line up spells danger. Be at least 4 down at lunch I reckon. Off to bed, get up early and watch a bit of last session then the Bang v Pak game I reckon.
I'll take being just 4 down if its a full 2 hour session tbhI was going to watch the first session but seeing as Vettori is out it is basically game over already in my eyes. Greentop and a brittle batting line up spells danger. Be at least 4 down at lunch I reckon. Off to bed, get up early and watch a bit of last session then the Bang v Pak game I reckon.
So you were hoping to see a Vettori ton in the first session? I just know that if I go to bed now and get up early, i'll switch on as Martin loses his middle stump.I was going to watch the first session but seeing as Vettori is out it is basically game over already in my eyes. Greentop and a brittle batting line up spells danger. Be at least 4 down at lunch I reckon. Off to bed, get up early and watch a bit of last session then the Bang v Pak game I reckon.
