Adam Parore is still playing pretty well judging by the Black Clash. You could probably entice him to captain the Māori side and Ross Taylor the Pasifika side.

Confused when I saw a left arm fast bowler I didn't recognise for Auckland today and couldn't see at first who it was on the team sheet. Turns out it's MJ Gibson, who is different from Otago's JM Gibson, Wellington's JD Gibson and ND's ZN Gibson.

Got hit around a bit though it's only his second match.

It's due to the Big Domestix regulation that stipulates a minimum of three Gibsons, all crap, should be on the NZ circuit at any one time; JD Gibson was finally ditched. See also: Hay, Clark(e).

What's happened to Joey Field? Seemed like a good prospect for CD last season but doesn't seem to have featured. Injured?

Just watching the CD v Otago T20 game. Hadn't seen Brett Randell before. Apparently a former NZ under 19 player same time as Jamieson and was joint leading wicket taker in Plunket Shield last season. Quite a good profile on him after he signed with CD from ND last year.

Will Clark who was unbeaten on 20 at the end looks promising too.

This is happening. Playing at no. 4 in this T20 is Small – as the Boss is injured. Last time he played was 4 years ago, batting at #8 below Wheeler.

Was able to watch the Super Smash for a change - CD vs Canterbury. Definite fan of both O'Rourke (even though his action still looks like it needs refinement and could add speed) and Foulkes (needs to bat too but bowling is deceptively slippery).
