Hey so whats the detailed analysis on ken mcclure for you nz locals? The times I've seen him play live he's extremely confident and aggressive against extra pace bowlers...seen him take sears to the cleaners last year super smash, and in particular fisher + kuggs in the ford trophy final recently where he made some 90 odd and took the game away from northern knights alongside nicholls (who ended up makin a match winning hundy)

This kinda fearlessness and effective strokeplay against intimidating pace is a very very encouraging sign. Brilliant list A record as well. Would be nice to see him get a run in our ODI side's middle order. Latham, Nicholls, Kane and Ross is just too much nitty gritty bat a SR of 75 tuk tuk style play.

Can't watch but this CD vs Auckland game all set up for a good finish - 70 needed off 33 looks tough but Guppy is still in and O'Donnell has just hit four boundaries.

Ajaz and Tickner (:-O) have bowled tidy spells.

Edit: There goes O'Donnell.

Yeah, turning into a great game. Guptill might still bring it home. Patel has been superb. Horne is playing a blinder.

Gutted for Field, one of the few from that 2020 under 19 WC team to kick on to senior level. Bowled a great over up till that 4th ball. Guptill was lucky not to be run out sneaking a bye first ball.

It was pretty packed and lots of kids running around and playing on the boundary, pretty good atmosphere. They were talking about the work they had done to improve the ground so I think they'll try bring games back every year

Cobham Oval has its first Super Smash game in six years coming up next month - no crowd because of the red setting, but hopefully we might get another chance to go to one within the next couple of seasons too.

Looking forward to seeing Queenstown and Pukekura Park in some free-to-air TV games coming up over the next few days.

That was such a good game of cricket. Guppy has been very good of late. Knows whom to take on and when to take on. At this rate he can play quite comfortably for couple more years.

Seth and Tickener were hooping it early on but that knock from Ben Horne was quite amazing. CD did lose track after Dane got out though. They should have scored way more the way they had gone for the first 15 overs.

Great to see Adi Ashok move on from bowling flat and fast as stock ball to proper leg spin bowling. After the first game my enthusiasm for him had deflated a bit but now back on.

What about Ajaz? All 10 wickets in test match and none in the come back game at home in t20s. Cricket eh?

NZ XI 14/3 ... Bangladesh making early in roads. Devon strangely batting at no. 3 out 2nd ball. I guess he's going to bat 3 and Young opening?

Neesham going to be playing for firebirds today. Need all the help we can I guess.

Otago getting stiffed by the umpires not giving LBW's here. Good to see Robinson getting going. Hard hitting opener.

Seriously good catch by Max Chu off Rippon.
