There was Scott Styris that wasn't happy with firebirds not playing Rachin Ravindra. Mentioned that few times and he's got a point but still firebirds need someone like Matt Taylor in the lower middle order.

I agree with Scott Styris, if you sign up sometime like Kyle Abbott then he offers not only good bowling but the rest can learn from him.

Maybe Chris Harris was the other commentor. Not sure.

Abbott is an amazing signing, even ND’s imports are sensational ... not fair.

Although Hose has been good for the Firebirds so far this year, for a lesser profile import he’s produced some good performances.

Agree Taylor has been missed, he’d be an improvement on Pollard for sure.

Hose has been good so far, no doubt but Styris has a point. Someone like Ravindra can likely do the same job and also bowl few overs. Honestly there's no comparison in the class with Ravindra, he's too good. If being young is the only reason he's not playing that's plain wrong.

I see Ravindra scored a big hundred and picked up 3 wickets for HDCC in the Wellington club league. The opponent may not have been all that flash but the decks make it harder for guys to score no matter the opponents strength.

The other firebirds, Andrew Fletcher scored a duck, Malcolm Nofal 4, Younghusband 5 or something like that. Now Malcolm Nofal was given a good go in super smash, even Younghusband has had a go but no sight of Ravindra. Come on, I can't think of any other word other than "Stupid" for the management. Are they plain dumb?

I was thinking I'm a bit too much veered towards youth but even the commentators think so so I can't be alone in such thinking.

I'd say bring back Matt Taylor and make room for Ravindra. Wellington Cricket owes us this. In any case Ravindra has been picked up by firebirds two years late in my opinion. At least NZ cricket is doing their best with Ravindra.

I enjoyed Peter Williams and Jason Hoyte commenting on the NZ A v India A games. Harris would be better if he stopped trying to sound so excited. He needs to vary his volume, less shouting.

And stop and catch his breath! There were games earlier in the season where Harris was yelling non-stop for hours on end. He was way better yesterday with Roxborough calling the action. I like Roxborough, he’s there to call the game, not make the expert comments. I guess since he has a broadcasting background I find him really good at that. Same as Grant Nisbett is when he does a game.
