Love your work Kippax.

Darn, Jordie Barrett looked good. But as a rugby fan also I'm ok with him as long term heir apparent at fullback to Ben Smith.

How many of those guys in video above were available for U19s this year?

Bowling was this year's teams weaker link.

I know Ottley, Donkers and Whelan were, as they were in the U18 team last year that played the A tournament. While Gaylor was top wicket taker in this year's U19 tournament.

I'm going to guess Otley was injured? Either didn't play much (or at all in this seasons tournament), I think he was U18s best seamer in last year's A tourney.

On the U19s.

It seams 2016 batch would have been well suited to this year's tournament with seam bowlers to choose from Sears, N Smith, Z Gibson, Ter Braak.

While 2018's would have been well suited to the 2016 version in Bangladesh (3 SLAs in Ravindra, Murray, Lockrose). Murray was our best in 2016 anyway as a 17 year old.

Otley bowled 270 balls at the U19 tourney and eight overs on the day that squad was announced. I think his absence was just a Paul Wiseman revenge of sorts. He probably thought if Fisher and Otley go at 5-7 RPO just for their province, he'd rather try to get away with those cheeky Boshier or Georgeson 3/30 spells you always see at U19 World Cups.

Is the first 30 seconds of this video a gif of the same delivery?

Who is he playing for when wearing the red shirt? School?
Haha no, he was all over a LHB called Josh Borrell like a rash in his new ball spell. Canty U19 vs. CD U19, 16 December 2016.

OK.
Just looked it up. He was 11th best ER in his season's tournament. Of the 10 ahead of him on ER 8 were spinners.
But he was well down the lists of wicket takers and bowlng average.

(I was wrong about him being U18s best seamer in last year's A tourney, just looked that up.)

Not an outrageous ommission, then. But looks to me to be the best of the type of player that they were missing.

Only went in to the JWC with 2 proper seamers and one of them, Sullivan, only played the first match bowling 6 overs.

CD get home just. Set up well by Smith, Young and Worker. Leopard had a bit of a cameo with some nice shots. His dismissal is good viewing haha.

In the old days that Leopard dismissal would be a Minties Moment. A very impressive cameo otherwise, he looks to have a good eye and quick hands.
