***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2014/15

Confirmed that Otago have added Wilson and Kitchen. Neil Broom is also heading south again, along with Warren Barnes from Auckland.
Good on Wilson tbh. I'm obviously not a fan at all, and he needed to go. But from the sounds of things ND wanted him back and it was him that decided to move for the betterment of his career. Can't fault that. James Pamment and ND though, argh..... Even with Bradburn gone we still seem to struggle with cutting the deadweight around the area. Too matey, matey for mine. I mean had Bradburn not left when he did in 2013 Mitchell Satner would've given the game up that winter, how messed up is that. And for whatever reason domestic teams really don't like scouting players from A teams and bringing them into there region. Otherwise CD or Wellington could've scored themselves the likes of Santner, Seifert and Carter during last two off seasons.

Don't let Nick Kelly slip through your fingers this year Wellington

Not sure how Wilson going to Otago is going to better his career (not suggesting you said it would either Howsie)...guy had more than his share of chances and pump-ups from Doull right? He's just a run of the mill domestic player. Which suggests to me he should've gone to Wellington and opened ahead of whatever young promising opener they have coming through.

Warren Barnes is an A player so Otago have obviously done their scouting there. Decent bowler too. But you're right in the fact that domestic sides tend to take everyone else's off-cuts and hope they go better in their environment, pinch 1st/2nd year guys with promise and offer them higher-ranked contracts rather than see a guy in A cricket and think yeah, he's got potential let's jump on him now.

Dan tried to troll me yesterday by saying he had intel CD chased Devcich. Unforgivable if true. We've already got the good 50 over domestic left arm spin bowling opener

When Devcich rumours next hit their peak I will post my story about him (That I posted in the crabs subbie)

What is it, just coaches looking to stay loyal? Or something else.

Nah I think it's because if they actually become strong domestic assets they often just piss off back home anyway, like Kuggs and Craig Cachopa.

Who both left a toxic Wellington team.... Kuggeleijn was living with Ryder and like Ryder wanted out of Wellington as soon as possible. It says more about Wellington IMO than young kids just wanting to get home.

Also probably says a lot about living with Ryder as well.

Nah Phlegm and the CD newspapers have all lamented the same issue with Raval, and so on.

Mathieson may work out for the MA that took him in, but we're all aware from Blocky's posts that he's an unusually nice and courteous guy by domestic cricket standards.

I feel like domestic coaches would sell their grandma for the right player, so probably not that...resources I'd say. Very hard to get a gauge on whether someone who produces performances at Lincoln against 'A' level opposition is up to the task.

When are the contracts out?

Lol at the picture of him. You can totally tell they trawled the archives for the seediest looking picture that they could find.

Anyway, gurgh.

Haha since you posted this they've also found a picture of him in a hoodie to go at the top.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
"My client has a promising international career and has travelled overseas for teams in the past ... to places like the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka," he said. "He wants to have the opportunity to do that again."
**** off.

Eh. Two different victims over a couple of months, that really can't be good.
Doesn't necessarily say this, does it? Could be the same person. An ex, who knows.

Really, really surprised he didn't seek name suppression. I know he's not exactly a household name but this will hang above him until the trial date, every time he puts in a performance on-field knowing how the media works.
