Yo dcye, you said you didn't rate Afflalo? How awesome was his D on Kobe today? Gotta thank Joe Dumars for another steal.

I feel so bad for Ronron too. This is such bs what keeps happening to him.

I haven't watched it yet, was at cricket all day, but will catch the replay tonight. I'm easily persuaded
I've seen a lot of guys try to defend Kobe but this was awesome.

-He didn't foul
-Stayed in front of any drive attempts
-Kept him out of the paint (i don't think Kobe even had an attempt in the paint)
-Didn't bite on any pump fakes
-Still contested every jumpshot
-Didn't make the physicality personal. As in didn't need to resort to thuggery like Dahntay which could earn you fouls on any given day.

Also, some pretty sick dunks so far this season.

Outlaw tomahawk on Rudy Gay
Iggy's lane drive
melo
D-Wade making Varejao his bitch

and my personal fav from today's game:

Lawesome dunking on Mbenga and Powell

Brandon Jennings is frighteningly like AI was in his rook season. The only two guys I've seen with that freakish lateral speed and handles. Just a freak.

Remember those sick AI v JKidd East Coast battles? Jennings/Rose. This is going to be amazing. Just hope Redd doesn't come back and take the ball out his hands because Jennings as #1 and Bogut as #2 option is working big time.

Yes. Very exciting for Bucks fans :)

Also, good to see that Bogut is firing, he's needed someone like Jennings to really show his strengths.

Wow @ Jennings. What an insane performance.

How ridiculous is it that Slow-Mo Miller is in the all star ballot but Noah, the guy with 6 double-doubles in 9 games is nowhere to be found. Makes me dislike Miller just a tad. Also, Rose really needs to start driving more often, he's so good at it. Saw him lay it up over Dalembert with ease a couple of times, makes you wonder if he's just lost his confidence for some reason.

Isn't he carrying an ankle injury of some sort? Was sure I read that yesterday, which could be some of the reason.

Awesome stuff from Jenning (y)

Yeah at the beginning of the season. He missed preseason because of it so he came in to the season without much preparation and I think that's effected his play more than anything, he just seems out of rhythm. If the ankle injury is still a problem its news to me, though it could be he's taking it easy not to risk injuring it again. His minutes have dwindled quite a bit as well. Honestly, we'd be screwed without Hinrich.

EDIT: LBJ giving up #23 for #6 at the end of the season out of respect to MJ.

Haha, yeah was talking about this at work and was the general consensus. Thinking it might have to do with creating his own identity and not living in MJ's shadow for the rest of his life. Dislike him for the reason that he keeps trying to be Mike tbh.

Alternately, it could be a precursor to him going to a town where 23 is already retired, like say Chicago.

Or Miami. (Yeah, right)

I read somewhere that he wants the entire league to retire #23 like the NHL did for Gretzky, and the MLB for Robinson, or someone.

Jax to Cats for Bell and Vlade? Heh, careful what you wish for. Personally love Captain Jack so I was hoping he'd go to a contender but looks like Nellie did his best to screw him over. Nixing trades to the Spurs and to Cleveland. Harsh, harsh result for the guy.
