lol 1 Detroit game on One and I'm gonna miss it.

Things sounded good from the Grizzles game, d was intense as always with Gordon and Rip knockin' em down from outside, starting to like the team more and more and reckon we can steal 5th or 6th seed and cause some havoc in the playoffs.

In as the ever predictable Nippon Ham Fighters. Lmao @ hindukhush.

Lads, time to stop the season already. It's night 2 but it won't get any better thanthis

I'm whole hog for Melo.
Saw this on NBA TV and recorded it. Awesome play but how good was Lawson?

Not refering to the mountain ranges itbt.

Ty was probably the most NBA ready PG in the draft. Kid flat out knows how to play and his speed makes this the most dangerous Nugg team on the break since AI left. Can now more or less play any type of game we need. Just wish we kept James White. He's the type of super athlete who defends hard and would run on the break with Ty with all he has in the tank.

Once JR gets here there will be no excuse for Carter to be given big minutes. This season is going to be so awesome.

Took it as a play on words using khush instead of kush.
Haha, as a horticulturalist I was refering to something else but I see the pun now.

Mock drafting right now.

When's the draft for our league?
Scoring starts on Tuesday, so I'll close the leauge and draft by Sunday night. Gives people the weekend to sign up. With dcye and Wright we'll have 6, a couple more would be nice though

EDIT: So draft probably on Monday (it says a day but I've never commished before so I don't know)

Might do a vote on the scoring format as well, since it's a democracy. Do we want a pure points format or a rotisserie? Head to head would be fun if we had 10-12 teams so maybe next year.

A bit of a description here:

Rotisserie leagues rank each of the teams in the league from first to last in a number of statistical categories. Points are awarded according to the order of finish in each category, and are totaled to determine an overall score and place. So, the team with the most Blocks in a 10-team league will receive 10 points, whereas the team with the second most will receive nine points, etc. This is the most common type of format used and is the best fit for those interested in a deeper statistical fantasy experience. Strategy abounds as each GM looks to balance their roster, avoiding weaknesses in any categories.

Points-Based leagues simply use a number of statistical categories with a point value assigned to each to determine each team's score. The least common of the three scoring formats, Points-Based may be the easiest for novices to play given your ultimate goal is to score as many points as possible, regardless of the method. Whereas in Rotisserie you need to do well in each category, there is no penalty in Points-Based for having a team that doesn’t, for example, rebound.

Liking Taj, he's a real scrapper. Seems del Negro is concentrating on the inside for once now that he's got no BG to rely on. Liking it tbh.

****ing Parker and his phantom foul drawing!!

Denver game was brilliant again. They had almost everything against them, having to play the night after a brutal game against Utah, the snow in Colorado meaning they had to wait till 3 am to leave for Portland, Nene playing with an injured calf and JR still suspended, Portland being well rested and being one of the toughest home teams.

Yet they still won. Melo was magnificent, all his haters should watch that game and tell me he isn't a franchise player. Denver was horrific in the first half yet he completely carried that team. 19 points in the final term where he was completely clutch. K-Mart was brilliant again too. Two nights in a row where he shut down Boozer and now LMA.

Denvers defence was brilliant but they stil strugle on the boards. Portland at one stage were 42-28 up on rebounding and were 14-1 on the offensive glass. Over a series that will hurt you, Blazers had an extra 20 shots over the course of the game. Use the trade exception and bring in a Foster or Murphy not that there's a logjam at Indiana. Otherwise probably another agonisingly close playoffs beckons. But damn, this team is talented and so awesome to watch.

Yeah we've got no players who can clean the glass, Nene is really a PF and despite his girth is still undersized against most centre's. Need a big man.

****!! Visited this thread out of habit while watching Denver-Portland from last night. Will still watch it as I didn't read the rest of duffer's post. Melo's unstoppable.

In case no one noticed Bulls wiped the floor with the Spurs. As good as our D was we were pretty lax on the three point line and SA were horrible shooting there, which really kept them out of the game. Duncan was unstoppable, making buckets with three guys on him, but the rest of the Spurs were totally out of rhythm thanks to some good D. Parker and Ginobli had 0 FGs between them in 2nd half. On offense, I thought we took some horrible shots in transition but totally made up for it with our scrappers out rebounding the **** out of SA. We were 19-0 on 2nd chance points at half.

Tyrus was key in third with his newly developed mid range ability. It really opens things up for us allowing Rose to play an inside out game, which in turn made for a great 3rd for us. I think getting Taj was the best thing that could've happened for TT as now he's finally got some competition for his position and he's finally worked out his outside shot. And if this is how Rose is playing on a sore ankle, I can't wait to see him fully fit! Salmons was very disappointing.

Good start for us all things considered, very nice to see Deng back in the mix and hitting his shots, snatching some key rebounds. Was never a big fan but he's flowing nicely with the team.

Vince's injury scares me, couldn't handle another long stretch without some Vinsanity. He had 16 midway through the second as well, could've been huge. Hope it's okay.

Also, anyone catch that around the back assist from Lebron to Big Z? Amazing pass.
