I would have still been a Mavs fan if we lost Luka to a real trade or free agency but ****ing him over like this financially and mentally because the new cheap MAGA owners did not want to pay the easiest supermax in the league after spending $200m+ on the Trump campain, untold hundreds of millions on Israel and more on their plans to turn the Dallas Stadium into a casino is unconscionable. On top of that, Nico Harrison talking to his godnephew’s father Bron and no other team is the cherry on top.

No player has been ****ed over for $100m this late in the contract cycle like this. No NBA fanbase has been disrespected like this. The worst trade of all time,

Honestly, I can’t root for this team to win as long as they still have these cave ghouls as owners.

Cuban's no longer the majority owner. There's no way this happens under him.

This trade is so colossally dumb and one sided that it legitimately warrants an investigation. Nico probably an inside man for the lakers imo. Unless the Mavs know that Luka's arms are going to fall off by the end of this year it doesn't make any sense.

Edit: Actually, it doesn't even make sense in that scenario. The lakers would have to know Luka's arms are going to fall off too. That return is abominable.

It’s just so “odd”

Trading away a top 3-5 player before he has arguably reached his prime never happens & for good reason

There’s actually a solid argument to be made for blowing the team up completely right now rather than building around AD & Kyrie

Irving can walk next season and if he does, what then?
