Jokic is an unreal floor raiser. Watch these dudes try and play when he's not on the court

Wemby has been nowhere near as good as advertised but is obviously young
Both him and the Spurs have gone on a slide since that big win over the Suns. He still averages 19-9 though, so a handy start. Compare those numbers to Jokic or Giannis's in their first three seasons.

Wemby’s averaging 19 because he’s a chucker with a green light

Literally one of the worst shooters in the NBA

Literally played 14 games and folks are already claiming he's a bust. I know social media has ruined people's attention spans but fml give the lad a chance.

So this in-season tournament: question is for anyone who understands the rules:

1. Does/Could this add more games (more than 82) to the pre-playoff season for teams who go deep into this one?
2. Is there anything like automatic qualification into the playoffs for teams who get into the semis of this tournament?
3. Can a team struggling to get a top 6 placement in the regular season standing go deep into this tournament? Like I saw that the Lakers just barely snuck into 6th place in the West standings but are the 1st team into the knockout round of the in-season tournament?!

Essentially the whole concept seems unwieldy and unnecessary to me but maybe it’s because I don’t understand how it works…

Only for the finalists. (There are currently only 80 games on the schedule; the teams knocked out will be drawn against each other for the 81st and 82nd game.)

No

Yes because just four matches of the 20-odd played so far count. (New Orleans are also fairly likely to qualify.)

source I had to check a bunch of these things for work

Wemby's shown more than enough potential. Some incredibly promising flashes. He was always going to be raw. Anyone expecting him to come in and be a star immediately was being too optimistic.
