At one point I would've loved to have him in Chicago, but with such a young team the last thing we need is someone with a large ego. Really was one of my favorites when he first came onto the scene.

Chicago should be winning this game against the Mavs but they're just giving it away yet again. So frustrating.

EDIT: Yup, gave it away in overtime. Dirk kicked ass after a horrible start. LOL at Tyrus netting a 3 at the end.

For the Aussies it looks like Channel 10 are now going to show 2 games a week on their HD channel which gets us back to 4-5 games a week on here.

Watching the Lakers-Celtics on Friday night in HD was pretty damn awesome. They use the TNT feed as well so Monday and Friday games are live with the replay on a 9.30 that night. Lakers-Cavs tommorow. Seriosly loving Aussie tv these days.

the spurs and the lakers getting important wins today against the two eastern conf powerhouses...i think at this point, the spurs need to be put back in contention status alongside the lakers(the loss of bynum could prove to be a critical blow), the cavs and the celtics...the magic for all the improvement they've shown this season would in my opinion, would come up short against these 4 teams and i don't really see any other team capable of beating them in a 7 game series...

From what Kerr was saying it looks like he turned down a Deng-Gooden-Thomas for Amare + filler deal yesterday. Hmm, your dream might come true. If they could get a guy who will board and D-up then Rose, Gordon and Amare is a pretty sick Big 3.

Some other interesting trade idea's here

52-10-11 isn't a TD anymore?
They gave one of Bron's rebounds to Varejao. 52-9-11 now.

Interesting trade from the Lakers sending Vladi over to Charlotte for Adam Morrison. Morrison could be quite decent for them and can play at SF and SG off the bench which would help now that Lamar is a starter. Has a great jumper.

Another epic fail for Jordan as a GM though, taking Morrison at #3 when he had a chance to get Brandon Roy or Rudy Gay amongst others.

Sean Marks represent.

18 points (including the dunk to put New Orleans ahead with 8secs left) on 6-8 shooting (6-9 from the line), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block in 24mins.

Watching the Lakers-Cavs replay now and I gotta say for a guy who was ill and on a drip at half time Kobe's D on LeBron was out of this world.

van Gundy came out with the stats at the start of the game of "let Bron into the paint and he goes 74% but make him go mid range and he's in the 40's and only 29% from dlwntown. Kobe manned up and put a wall up in front of LeBron saying "you want it? you gotta shoot it over me with my hand in your grill."

I love James but Kobe is seriously a HOF'er on both ends of the court and in the clutch. I don't think LeBron can ever dream of being as good a defender as Kobe is.

Also, funnily enough I think Lamar and Pau actually complement each other better than Bynum and Pau do.

yeah he has improved a lot on defense this year but he is being seriously overrated right now for his 'd', every block or steal of his is highlighted again and again..and when it gets to his biggest fan mike brown(the guy is in love with lebron) campaigning for defensive player of the year for lebron, it becomes totally ridiculous...having said that lebron still has a lot of years to get to kobe's level on defense and i am not sure we can completely rule it out...

Definitely true that LBJ has plenty of time on his side but Kobe is just such a natural on D. He's just got incredible instincts that Lebron doesnt have defensively, things like where to be, when to step, push up, when to put the forearm in and deny position and his reading of the shot is so automatic.

With Lebron it looks like he's a kid who's rote learnt what to do and not to do rather than just acted on instinct and making the happen. Against guys like Pierce, Allen, Johnson, Kobe, Manu etc you can only get away with so much by simply trying to follow the textbook like coach Brown wants him to do. He'll be really tested come Finals time against true offensive forces where his size is negligible.

radmanovic wasn't performing with any sort of consistency so i don't feel it is a great loss for the lakers even if the newcomers don't perform...as for a chance to get roy or gay, how would that happen? for mine, they would've had to give up a lot of what is now a settled roster to get someone like roy...

why the hell are the suns thinking of trading stoudemire? why would they keep 35+ guys like shaq and nash and send stoudemire away? he is probably not the franchise player he was touted to be but he is still a damn fine player and he is just 26 years old...

Nah Morrison was drafted at 3 when guys like Roy, Gay were still on the board. That was a **** up by MJ. No hope in hell of Charlotte trading for either of them now.

Must be infuriating to watch last night's game duff. Pistons were up by 15 and even with the Bulls fightback they should've won but we were able to snatch the game thanks to a couple of horrible plays in the last minute. Love how Tyrus and Noah are getting up there crashing the boards. Both had a dub-dub, making it TT's 6th this season. And Rose, well, I simply want him in a very gay manner...
