Isn't Lebron a really big hype ? People call him the next Jordan or something, but Forget MJ or Magic , the guy isn't even anywhere close to Kobe. He isn't even the best player in the east. It has been 6 years since he came to the league, its about time he lerd his team to a conf championship.
Dude....LeBron is in his 4th season. He can't avg 30 every season, Kobe didn't either. If LeBron was to finish college, this would be his first year in the NBA, and with the season he is having, he would have been rookie of the year, by MILES. You don't get why he is scoring less. The coach, Mike Brown, is trying something new this year and try to get his team involved, even though his team sucks. LeBron is taking less shots this year but it doesn't seem to be helping the team a lot. He's made it known that he wants to improve the offense of this team, and turn into a run and gun team and asked Brown to let him take more shots. Cavs can't survive with other players taking up their shots, because they suck.

And lets not forget, LeBron led Cavs to a 7 game series against detroit last year, and was only one rebound away from beating them. That was the best team in the league coming into the playoffs they were facing. And LeBron doesn't have the likes of Shaq or Scotty like Kobe and Jordan do to lead this team to a championship, but still he fell a rebound short of a trip to the conf finals.

Kobe also came out of high school so did KG. If you are performing at NBA level then it really is a moot point when you make it to NBA and IMO lebron has good players around him such as Z, Hughes etc. to at least take him to East conf. championship. I am not talking about Lebron's points, I think he does well offensively, but it is on the other side of the court he is miles behind the likes of Kobe and no where close to MJ and he is no Magic as some people are trying to say.

Also I have no doubt in my mind that had Lakers been playing in Eastern Conf, Kobe would have taken his team to conf. championship no. of times. AI did back in 2000 or so.If cavs were in West, they would struggle to make playoff. Lakers made the playoffs last year with a team that looks worse than this cavs team ?

Also 6 years was a mistake, I wanted to type 4 years. but somehow ended up typin 6, sorry about that.

LeBron would have Larry Hughes, if he ever stayed healthy. It's basically LeBron and Z, who is good, but not like a shaq or anything. And I don't see how you consider 26 ppg as bad. LeBrons 4th year in the league is still better than Kobes. And lets not forget, how a team plays in the regular season doesn't mean they will play the same in playoffs. Detroit was the best in the league last year in the regular season, and when it was playoff time, they struggled. I really think it will be Cavs and Pistons this year in the conf finals.

Err, Didn't I say he does well offensively ? and no, Lebron iin his 4th year isn't better than Kobe in his 4th year unless all you look at is PPG.

I know you haven't seen many games this season, and you said it your self, so I don't think it would be right for you to say that. Unless ofcourse you are stating that after only watching a couple of games out of like the 48 they have played so far

First of all dont confuse many with any. Also please dont tell me that you are Ernie johnson and Merv Albert combined into one and have watched every NBA game played this season to post anything about any player. Yes I have watched enough NBA this year and year before to make a decent judgment on Lebron's game which is :-
a. He isn't a good defender and hence doesn't have allround game compared to Kobe.

b. Lebron isn't as good as it is made out to be. He is no Next MJ or Magic, hell he has long way to go before he can be next Kobe.

Anyways - If you are going to tell me that Lebron's defense is good then I must say you do not understand the game at all and all that you watch is bunch of guys running from one end to other and putting the ball in the hoop. There is a reason Lebron has never been selected to any of the NBA All America defensive teams and this selection is made by active NBA coaches. Kobe is getting picked into those teams almost every year since he became a starter for Lakers.

Of course Kobe is a better player than Lebron, this is his 11th season in the NBA.

I don't think Lebron James is any where near the best player in the league, but as a third year player he took a lottery team to Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Semis. Not a bad for his first trip to the playoffs. Cleveland are currently the third seed in the East, right? The playoffs are still months away... You're acting like the Cavs just got bounced... Jordan was in his 5th season when the Bulls first made the Conference Finals, and Magic was drafted to the Lakers on a freaking coin toss, so I'm not sure what your argument is in terms of comparative success.

I give up Sanz. Theres no point in trying to explain to you LeBron is not overrated. If you think that, then so be it

Dwight howard is a ****ing beast! Blocks game winner on defense, hits game winner on offense. He's too good

:D The cav's finally win one against a quality opponent by taking out the heat 103-79. James led the way with 29 points, 7 boards & 6 assists.

The refs are blind. Did anyone see the game? LeBron had a huge dunk, where he seriously got smacked across the head. Mike brown from the other end of the court could see it, and the refs on the same side of the court as the players couldn't see it. It wasn't even like a small foul, it was a clear flagrant foul. Those old farts need to get their eyes checked.

Haha, can't wait for Toronto to own Detroit today, the same way they have owned the last 5 teams they faced! 6-in-a-row in sight!

Be scared Detroit, be very scared...

Wow, it's halftime and Toronto is up 49-43... If Toronto continues to play this well almost all of you will have to appologies when they win the NBA Championship  .

Don't worry, this was one bad game out of the last 6... it still doesn't mean we suck. We're certainly a team to watch out for...

Anyways, Dravid, I'll respond to your comment above on April 13th in an equally nice way :p.

getting into the playoffs doesn't mean that you are a championship contender, hell it doesn't mean that you are even a contender for the conference title....at the moment, the pistons, wizards, a completely healthy heat(of course they have to get into the playoffs first), probably the cavs and the magic as well will all beat you in a 7 game series...and this is all in a pretty weak eastern conference, most of these teams(except maybe the pistons because of their experience and their always solid defence) don't stand a chance against the top teams in the west....
