One down - you can tell the Ashes start soon
Prepare for Tresco to take one in the left thumb, and Strauss to break an arm diving for a catch.......followed by Harmy tearing his buttocks or something.

Can someone who's watching the game say whether Pietersen really was looking injured as he chased the ball in Harmy's last over?
Yep. Off the field for Prior now, looked to be limping slightly and moving very slowly. Commentators thought a muscle, and they're probably right. I suppose it could be blisters or something though, so some hope for England yet.

I think he forgot that he needed to put some treatment in his hair at the innings break and needs to put it in now before it loses it's colour.

I don't think he needs to be in form to hit leg-stump half-volly's. Shocking from Gough, get Fred on Mick.
Trouble is, who's going to bowl at the other end? Harmison's as poor as Gough today. I can't see this reaching the 35th over at present.

Bloody hell, England. If you're going to bowl like this, you might as well bring on Strauss and Solanki and save the front-liners for the Tests. Come on lads, wake up.

This is where cricket becomes completely a batsman's game. Just a shame England's top order couldn't bat.
Give some credit to Australia's bowlers. McGrath bowled 4 maidens straight up.
