What confuses me is that you have Harmison in there twice, at 8 and 11...

Last year McGrath was the best Aussie bowler picking 7 (is it?) wkts in WC. He is struggling to be in team. Look at this year.

Was McGrath not out of the team on at least two stints? Surely that has absolutely no effect on a player...

Yes, Sarwan has played more games than Clarke, but that's an outstanding string of not outs and I just can't see how Clarke could be considered a better finisher than Sarwan... except of course for the X factor - he's Australian.

So you downplay Lara's performance over the past year by stating McGrath's performances this year, even though he was injured for a period, then you come and demand Harbahajan in a World XI (over one of the best bowlers of all-time) even though he's not played a match in forever due injury. Well done.

if rikki clarke can take 32 wkts in a series against aussies, yeah i would !!
never mind its test or not.. he got those wkts against the best team under pressure. And he didn't need to bowl 60 overs in an innings like Murali to do it. Oh and a smal matter that he actually won the game... but thats going away from point, i'll concede murali is better bowler.. but is he more effective in odi's, i am undecided...

And when he does the same against another team or the Aussies themselves, we'll write it up as something more than one great series. Also that has absolutely nothing to get him into an ODI World XI.
