Don't see where the faith in Aus batting against spin comes from tbh, this seems a 50-50 game at best to me. Mind you this is a really good test for them before the semi-finals, if they can they chase down 280 that's a decent achievement.

Doesn't fix the Starc issue though.
He needs to miss the next game and freshen up for the finals. They definitely need him bowling close to his best for the finals

From all reports he's carrying an injury. So of course we play him in every single game.

That was a seriously impressive last 5 overs from Afghanistan. Turned a "270 at best" score to 290. Pretty smart batting for a side which probably lacks the star power of most sides.

Hard to know what par is....had Afghanistan hit 270-ish I would've said "below par but very defendable given how Afghanistan have bowled", 290 could legit be par. And I don't have much faith in this batting lineup unless Warner and Head get off to a flyer.

A great late cameo from Rashid and a great innings from Ibrahim, that is a challenging total for Australia against the Afghanistan bowling attack.

Another upset could be on the cards here.
