Crowd a lot quieter without Rachin and Kane to cheer
@Adorable Asshole
Nah this is not true. The crowd was very noisy and enthusiastic. Rachin recieved Sachin chants – Rachiiiiiin Rachin.

When Pakistan came to bat there was more excitement with Fakhar playing an attacking knock. Crowd was cheering both boundaries and good fielding efforts.

NZ are still ahead on nrr..pak still hanging on by a thread.
If England manages to beat Australia, it will spice up even more as 4 teams will be on 8 points.

Anyway, not qualifying is our lot for dropping games we shouldn't. That Shamsi lbw was rough and NRR not taking DLS into account is dumb but we wouldn't be here if we hadn't lost to Afghanistan. Much like losing to WI last time.
according to cricinfo there’s an NRR gain of 21 runs in 25 overs for Pakistan. Seems to take it into account no?

Robbed by the rain.

And also great batting from Fakhar and trash bowling from Sodhi.

All is not lost though we are still ahead of Pakistan and Afghanistan on NRR.

We just need to beat Sri Lanka and hope Pakistan lose to England or not flog them by too much and hope Afghanistan lose to SA and Australia.

Got to feel for NZ here, scoring 400 and then losing in DLS in such a crucial game is a tough one to take.

But fair play to Pakistan. To chase 400 and get the job done, even by DLS, is a heck of an effort.

NZ realistically seems most likely to qualify still.
All the seniorios you mentioned is most likely to happen.
SL can only compete associate teams, tall task for Afghanistan to beat SA and Australia and Pakistan may get 2 points vs England but they surely aren't thrashing them.
