***Official***Match #35 - New Zealand vs Pakistan - November 4th - Bengaluru

King Kane

International Regular
Doesn't seem like there is much chance of them getting back out there.

We will be one of the few teams to lose an ODI after scoring over 400.

I can't think of many others, the only one I can think of is this one back in 2006 where Australia scored 434 and South Africa chased it down scoring 438.

Regardless of who wins this game it's genuinely difficult to watch a lot of the bowling in this tournament. Way too many 350+ scores.

It's been entirely ground dependant really. The Chennai and Lucknow games have been mid to low scoring. Wankhede and bengaluru have always been roads so not a surprised they've produced most of the runfests.

Unless there have been other rain shortened matches then that's the only one. The only other time a team batting second has scored more than 400 is Sri Lanka's 411 chasing 414 against India.

I watched Australia's innings when they scored 434 thinking they would have an easy win, couldn't believe it when I woke up and saw that SA had won.

Herschelle Gibbs went berserk with 175 and poor old Mick Lewis went down in infamy with the worst ever ODI bowling figures of 0/113 off 10 overs.
Haha he was being sarcastic, that's one of the most famous ODI games ever
