I’m glad to see Shamsi get some overs in. Not always been in the best of form recently and it’s nice for home to get overs under his belt without any pressure.

On a serious point, is Sean Abbott perennially underrated by Australia?
Rate him highly. Excellent bowling all-rounder. Versatile with both new and old ball, really decent with the bat and lively in the field

He's had a few opportunities certainty, but feels like he could have had a bigger impact in major tournaments. Doesn't seem to be fully trusted or backed

He averages 36 with the ball and 17 with the bat from 17 ODI games for Australia, realistically you're not going to be a main player with those stats ..

I think the guy whose been unlucky from a bowling perspective is Jhye Richardson.

Yeah in isolation his stats looks very moderate
Imo he passes the eye test. Looks a really accomplished bowler the last 3-4 years

The Aussies look a bit of a mess at the moment.

Look at the keeper situation. Whatever you think of Carey's recent performances, once you pick him for the 1st game, you can't be dropping him for the 2nd.

yes jhye richardson is a real talent who has been very unlucky in all formats tbh. His injuries made it hard for him though.
