Well Sachin was blatantly not out. No shame in reversing that kind of decision. LBWs and close edges are a different story.

I gotta go with the 'WTF?' on part of the umpire. Once a decision is made, it should be made. The decision was horrible, but still.

Ah well, he goes next over, so no big deal.

What the hell was that about?

Worst decision ever to dismiss SRT. But even worse decision to BRING HIM BACK ON THE FIELD?

I've never heard of a batsman being called back from the boundry!
So just cos you have never seen it, it is a bad decision? It is within the rules and was the right decision in the end so don't see your qualms over it.

Ponting's outburst after that was ridiculous. Will be interesting to see if he gets a ban or penalty. :D

Are you even watching the match? If you are, there's no point discussing that view of yours. Disgraceful from Ponting there.

Cheating was the way they all appealed when it was so obvious it went off the shoulder. Ponting's post-reaction wasn't cheating, it was simply disgraceful. You can go "by the rules" and say that the decision can't be reversed, but you could see it on Ponting's face that he was just being a cheap sport.

Bleh, 50% of the appeals are clearly not outs. Are they all cheating? I don't think so.

Not exactly. Very few appeals are this stupid. LBWs are much harder to judge and you always appeal for those because you can't even tell where it's going from the angle half the time. Something like this doesn't compare.

So if its close and the bowling side knows its not out but still appeals, its cheating?

I'd be pretty livid too if the oppositions best batsman gets called back after being dismissed.
Nothing gives you an excuse to behave in an unsportsman like manner.

It wasn't close. Let me avoid this "cheating" word, it's a little too controversial these days. Let's just say it was a poor show of unsportsmanlike conduct.
