Gee, great performance by Hayden so far. 16 off 36, and terrible running gets Katich out. I wonder if people will get off Katich's back now?
That was a terrible decision by Hayden not to take the 3rd run. He looks very rusty out there. If he doesn't carry on with it now after making a start he will look very silly.

damn Watto was looking for another big innings today, Australia need a boost pretty quickly.

Katich was obviously trying to bat quicker than usual, didn`t really look settled. Hope Haydos makes a big score to show him how it`s done.

Up Bracks.

Very interesting Windies side, obviously hoping the part-timers can do a job. Still no Collymore!

Hayden has got to make a big one today he has been in there long enough.

Bradshaw for a bowler who looks so lame, is damn effective

Hopefully he will. I don't think it's the easiest pitch to bat on, given that it's a bit slow and there's some unpredictable bounce, and obviously a lot of the Australian players are lacking game time. Only Katich has looked really comfortable so far, though Hussey has started well too.

Anything over 250 should be quite defendable, but from the current situation 220 or so would be the first target.

Whatever it takes!!!
Why hasn't Lara used Hinds in this pitch as a bowler? He is quite good generally and has a golden arm as well. He would have been more than useful in these conditions.
