Bumrah’s rating went up to 907
Don't think it'll be easy to take it even higher tbh. If he fails to perform in the 5th test (which will probably be flat), it could start going down.Bumrah’s rating went up to 907
I mean who knows what will happen... he is in the form of his life.. and has picked 8 or more in each match of this series so far except Adelaide because the batsman didnt even scored enough runs for him to bowl in 2nd innings.. i will predict another 8 wicket haul or more in 5th testDon't think it'll be easy to take it even higher tbh. (I'm trying to anti-jinx it. IPL should relieve him. The organizers need to realise theirs is the most inconsequential event in the cricketing calendar.Just play important Tests, World Cups and IPL. No need to feature in JAMODIs really.
That’s not surprising. Its easy to maintain after a smaller number of matches.Bumrah's ICC average Rating is 719.524. That's already top 21, after playing only 42 matches.
Don't think so. Your point starts rising from zero. So, if you play less number of matches, the weightage of the initial lesser point have a higher weightage. As you play more matches, the weightage reduces, and also there are higher points to balance those out. That’s not surprising. Its easy to maintain after a smaller number of matches.
Lol no . In the first 15 matches , your average rating is barely 500-600 . It takes time to reach 700 .That’s not surprising. Its easy to maintain after a smaller number of matches.
Yes initially, but after a certain number of matches, its easier to maintainDon't think so. Your point starts rising from zero. That's why Anderson's average rating is higher than that of Barnes.
And with more matches, the average is surely going up, because you are expected to maintain a rating higher than 700 from the middle to the end of your career.Lol no . In the first 15 matches , your average rating is barely 500-600 . It takes time to reach 700 .
Ambrose Hadlee and Boom are the three best and very close. Also this series Bumrah has had a decent batting lineup to face as onwards the 2nd test, Labu/Smith/Head have been a force to reckon with. Also Hadlee’s best series was against a horrid Aus lineup in 1984-85What do you guys think of this list? Fleming reckons Bumrah is the best touring pacers the last 45 years to Aus.
I think I rate Ambrose and maybe Hadlee still ahead though. Ambrose had much better Aus sides to bowl to.
Also think I would have gone Akram over Marshall. Marshall to me is a tad overrated in Aus.
Yeah it's close between them. I would say Bumrah had an average series in 2021.Ambrose Hadlee and Boom are the three best and very close. He's off injured man.Bumrah has fell off man. Only two wickets in this innings.
LET BUMRAH GET THE WICKETS!!
Lol I didn't realize. I woke up a bit late today. He's off injured man.
Deliberately not taking any wickets while he's off so he can come back and take them later would have been taking the whole fanboying thing a bit too far.Lol I didn't realize. I woke up a bit late today.
