The Wheel is Forever
Warne offers to help Harbhajan

Hilarious unrelated tidbit:

Meanwhile, Warne's status in the competition was reinforced yesterday with reports appearing in Indian newspapers that highlight the fluency he has gained in Hindi, as disclosed previously in The Australian.

He has also, according to a report on the front page of The Pioneer, assumed the Indian custom of greeting people with folded hands, saying namaste, when meeting them, even welcoming fellow players and Royals officials in this way.

"Warne maintains a notebook and notes down one new word daily," the newspaper reported.

"Other than Hindi, he has become a gourmet of vegetarian dishes."

One Royals player said, "mostly, he decides our vegetarian menu". This is the same player who on an Australian tour of India had cans of baked beans shipped in to avoid the local food.
I want someone, anyone, to film him doing/saying Hindi. It'd be up there with Lee's bollywood career. :p

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
I had just commented on how the corporate franchisees look at their investments and some people on CW use every opportunity to show their personal biases by reading in one's posts whatever they want. I dont care enough to reply all of them. :)
8-) I have commented on the corporate aspect of IPL as well. However, I don't use large handed extreme statements which tend to state things which are far from the reality. You even take the opportunity to take a cheap shot by stating it shows 'personal bias'. Meh, whatever. Next time, I won't waste my time with you as obviously you do not take any thing which points errors/disagreements sportingly.

Oh and Bhaj has just been given a pitiful ban of 5 ODI's with the rider of a life ban should he get into any trouble in the future.

IPL is hotting up with Akthar making his debut and Tendulkar set to make his today :D

with Jaipur, Mohali and Chennai looking good for making it to the knockout stage that Del vs Kol game was very important and Akthar single handedly turned it Kol's way

with the sort of strike-rate he has, he doesn't need to bowl longer...
Indeed, Give me a 3 over spell like that in any format of Cricket over 10-15 over of crap spell that we see so often these days.

That was clearly one of the best 3 over spell I have seen in recent times.

LOL @ the childish Indo-Pak rivalry.

Chennai failing fast here. Dhoni looking like a walking wicket. Would like to see a contest. Morkel to go beserk.

Don't see it. SJS commented on him in the Test match format and Beleg (pakistani) and Sanz (Indian) supported Shoaib. Don't see any rivalry. This board has possibly the least rivalry between Ind-Pak that is possible.
I guess you missed the sarcasm.

well thats coz thats where he plays most of his cricket...and spends most of his time..so they have to tolerate all his tantrums and all
They are a spoilt lot,Spoilt by that rich fast bowling crop. So spoilt that they can not tolerate little tantrums of once in a lifetime talent.

Beware of the curse of Shoaib Akhtar. They will pay for it.

Dire captaincy by Dhoni. Chennai deserve to lose because of it. Sanath batting beautifully however. :)
