I am liking this Sandeep Sharma guy.

Yeah fair enough lads, I have watched a lot of the IPL this year as usual, but have dipped in and out of the Bangalore lads when they bat, focusing more on their "bowling" efforts, he has been pretty good, deserves a chance if the alternatives are Rahane and Dhawan who we have seen a million times.

Yeah I don't necessarily think he should be in the team, but I do think it's fair to say that this IPL has unearthed him as an explosive Indian opener. He wouldn't have been on the radar before this season but he's gone out and smashed it.

I wouldn't be opposed to giving Vijay a go actually but I can see why people think it might mess with his successful Test game.

It's possibly worth noting that Dhawan's replacement wouldn't necessarily have to be an opener, as Kohli could quite easily open in T20Is as he has at times for RCB this season. I don't think the middle order options are actually any better so I wouldn't go that way, but it's an option.
