Albie is a big boost. Hopefully he is used high up the order like last year. He formed a formidable partnership with Dhoni. Fred really should be utilised as a bowler, whatever he scores with the bat is a bonus. Not in good enough touch to come in and slog from the outset.

Openers:
evenly matched but will take Hayden's consistency
Hayden's a lynchpin, but Patel is a weak link. Bangalore have both ends sealed.
3-5
again evenly matched but KP gives B'lore an edge on paper
Slight edge. Otherwise, even.
6-8
Chen looks better
Easily.
Bowling:
Chen looks better with more options
Chennai have more options, but the Indian base is very weak. Kumble's five-for-five gives his team an edge over them. Besides, not all of Chennai's top bowlers can come together- just one may play.

To add, the fielding of the Chennai side is a lot better, man for man, and together.

50 for Haydos. :)

Patel needs to get out and let Dhoni, Morkel et cetera come in and get a hit.
