Hayden's been awesome in limited overs cricket for a couple of years now, it really is an extended run of brilliance. Even in Twenty20s, he was superb in what little IPL he played last year and was leading run scorer in the T20 WC. He's just continuing here where he left off.

Shouldn't be given a game IMO. Guy can't be bothered to play during the normal stages but when it comes to semi's he wants it. That's IMO ****ed. Give it to the guy who has been playing throughout the tournament. Don't change the winning formula.
It would make a winning formula better. Seriously, have you seen Vijay bat in T20s?:p

He is not suited for the format as an opener. Hussey could replace him. Oram can be dropped and a batsman can be brought into the side.

Consdering all their reserve Indian batsmen are openers. I will give you one guess where a new batsmen would go. ;)

Would bring in Thurshara for Oram. Would add more with bowl and potential even with the bat, with his current form.

Didn't he want to play till Ashes 2009 but Australia would have nothing to do with it?

The strategic time out really is a piece of ****, isn't it? Completely kills the momentum of the game for the spectator, and it renders overs 8-12 redundant as teams are just passing time until the break/playing their way back in.
