Hayden's been awesome in limited overs cricket for a couple of years now, it really is an extended run of brilliance. Even in Twenty20s, he was superb in what little IPL he played last year and was leading run scorer in the T20 WC. He's just continuing here where he left off.
thats some crystal ball you have thereChennai to crumble from here onwards imo.
Agreed. I would rather take an extra batsman and let Raina bowl his 4 overs.Oram offers nothing to Chennai atm.

It would make a winning formula better. Seriously, have you seen Vijay bat in T20s?Shouldn't be given a game IMO. Guy can't be bothered to play during the normal stages but when it comes to semi's he wants it. That's IMO ****ed. Give it to the guy who has been playing throughout the tournament. Don't change the winning formula.
Consdering all their reserve Indian batsmen are openers. I will give you one guess where a new batsmen would go.It would make a winning formula better. Seriously, have you seen Vijay bat in T20s?
He is not suited for the format as an opener. Hussey could replace him. Oram can be dropped and a batsman can be brought into the side.
Gr8 call...Consdering all their reserve Indian batsmen are openers. I will give you one guess where a new batsmen would go.
Would bring in Thurshara for Oram. Would add more with bowl and potential even with the bat, with his current form.
Didn't he want to play till Ashes 2009 but Australia would have nothing to do with it?Hayden's been awesome in limited overs cricket for a couple of years now, it really is an extended run of brilliance. Two spinners can play in a team and be effective. It is not impossible.I would have thought that Warnie wanted the international spinner's domain to be confined to himself.
Media turned on him like they turned on Gilchrist the year before. They'll turn on Ponting in the next year or so, of that I have no doubts.Didn't he want to play till Ashes 2009 but Australia would have nothing to do with it?
Who?Gr8 call...
And he will give you serious pace too.
