I dont think the pitch is THAT hard to survive on. Its been slow turn once the new ball shine is gone. As much as the pitch seems to be breaking up, when it is that slow there is a chance always for batsmen to survive.

Pitch is deteriorating every day, really sharp turn and bounce, some balls that turn there are massive amounts of puff exploding from the pitch, will be really hard on day 4 & 5

Without a big chunk of investment we could see Sri Lanka go the way of Bangladesh for an extended period. Really sad to see, I remember Russell Arnold saying that he was confident they'd find players and I quote 'because everyone said we'd struggle when Attapatu and Ranatunga left team and we found Sanga/Jaya'. Struck me as an extraordinary comment.

Don't think they'd go that route. They did beat Australia 3-nill and has just come across an Indian team that has probably created a perfect subcontinent cricket template. In these conditions, I don't think many teams can beat India and that's including Pakistan.

Today I learnt about this "doing the dab" **** (cricinfo have also mentioned it). Seems a bit ridiculous to me.
