*Official* Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025

Rachin showing everyone how its done against a very slow left arm wrist spinner. He has succeeded every time he has attacked Vignesh, mainly because he is putting power and momentum into the shots by going down the pitch. Very old school spin requires very old school methods to be tackled properly on this track. :)
Gotta tame Chepauk. Rachin is Sanga come back.

I see that the Dhoni stumping of SKY hasn’t been mentioned…I watched it live and was amazed at the swiftness of the keeper. Reading a left arm chinaman bowler isn’t the best in the world, but Dhoni took that like duck to water.

Noor is gonna be their best player this season. Sorry Theekshana

I'll only have time to watch a replay of one game this afternoon. Safe to say it'll be the Chepauk game, not the Hyderabad runfest.

I know they’re getting well paid, but can’t be much fun being a bowler in these tedious slogfests. The sub rule has just turned it into a farce, even Phil Salt can score runs in this!!
Marketing people obviously think it’s a good idea

Casual fans then can’t understand why many of these players don’t score runs anywhere else

I find that idea really interesting. Think we may see a resurgence of slower wrist spinners with how modern t20 batsmen are used to playing. Guys like dubey stay in the crease and excel against faster spinners like Rashid khan but aren't use to using their feet against the slower spinners. Really interested to see how klassan goes against Vignesh.

Were they playing backyard cricket in that first match?
Essentially, yes!!

The flattest of flat pitches, a fast outfield, not especially big boundaries, an extra batsman on each side. I don't think Archer even bowled that badly (apart from one head high full toss), but at his pace, edges will fly.....and they did. May well have been Cummins worst figures too (0-60).

Gotta to feel for stubbs. Not bowled for months in an actual match. Gets asked to bowl to a rampaging pooran. Gets taken for 28.
Then has to bat at NR.6 with the game almost done.

LSG is a garbage franchise

Worst team of this year. Lost an almost unlosable match.

This team was doomed anyway when the owner and coach decided to make Pant, a certified T20 flop their marquee big money signing
