Delhi showing the value of staying in the game and not giving up when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds in both innings. Would love to see the win percentge predictions by the 10th over of both innings for Delhi.

From 7/3 in 1.4 overs to 211/9 in 19.3 overs and a win... hats off to DC! What a thriller... super stuff. Ashutosh was unbelievably good.

When du Plessis and Stubbs were batting KP was saying we have experienced players at the crease but have amazing Ashutosh and Vipraj still to come. KP known for exaggerating but wow Ashutosh was amazing. Even the last over I didn't think he would make it. Well done DC.

Ash showed us what he was made of since last season. Him and the other guy (name I can’t remember) were probably PK’s two best batsmen

Shocking selections from GT today. Cant believe they benched Washy on this track. They have very few batsmen beyond the top 3 IMO who can bat any length of time. I know it looks a deep batting line up with Rashid and Rabada at 9 and 10 but Sai Kishore is not a #6 or 7 in any white ball side at this level.

GT side would look far more balanced if they picked Philips in their starting 11 too as its almost a crime to not have him on the field.

Seems like they were desperate to have a left armer but then they should have gone after one at the auction.

Have pitches become too friendly or everyone has decided to play fearlessly. Unbelievable increase in scoring rate in last 2 seasons .

Its what happens when you make cricket 12 V 12 instead of 11 V 11 tbf.

I would love to see how these teams play if we remove this impact player rule.

Bro I think credit must be given to the local coaches , I know the impact player rule can help batting but definitely young Indian batters have gone up a level in ball striking, we see these type of striking in the Indian T20I side at present ..

India has taken T20 hitting to another level

I think this is due to increase in competition to get in Indian T20 side also . Players know that they won’t make in the Team if they play defensively. And if they won’t make the Team their bidding value in IPL would be low .
It is a bit like SL consistently producing mystery bowlers like Malinga, Mendis , Pathirana etc
