Just watched Cutting's over. Billy Stanlake is 6'8", obviously not a very good bat (even at club level it turns out), so why would you bowl a slower ball on a length that he can connect with from the obviously coming wild slog rather than a plan ole' yorker on leg that he mightn't be even able to lay bat to, and will most likely toe end? Sometimes the old tactics might be the best.

Does it matter one plays a shot, to collect leg byes, if the ball travels to the boundary?
I always thought you’re not allowed to take them, but once the ball goes over the boundary, you get 4 of them anyway.

That's a genuinely interesting question. Perhaps you should ask our resident qualified umpired *****.
