Mumbai's bowling attack looks dire. Bhajji and Munaf do not seem like bowlers who will take wickets. Once malinga leaves for England, Mumbai will probably be out of the tournament. Do they have anybody good in the reserves? Is Fernando good in the T20s? I remember that he had a good slower ball but otherwise was rather ineffective.

Kochi Tuskers is undoubtedly the coolest of the franchise names: a nod to the role that elephants play in Kerala's culture.

And Mumbai Indians is the dumbest of the franchise names; how are they any more Indian than the other franchises? They could have called it Mumbai Merchants or something, as a nod to Mumbai's role as a financial capital.

Kochi are apparently going to include Sourav Ganguly in their squad as a replacement for Steve Smith.
Good for Ganguly I guess, he has a point to prove and he is always at his best in that sort of a mood, but still I'm pretty disappointed for Smith. I think he would have been a very handy player for the Tuskers and would have provided their team with some X-factor and also not to forget sharing the dressing room with someone like Murali would have also been great for him.

Mahela is such a class act. No slogging at all, yet he was scoring at a better rate than Mccullum. Absolute treat to the eye. Finally a victory for Kochi. Something to cheer about for them. Though their bowling is still ****. Great century from the master. But his century and Abhishek bachan turning up for the game never works for the home side. India SA game for eg: Bring on Abhishek every match.

Van Der Wath is a dire pick for Bangalore. He got dominated in the New Zealand t20 competition. Hussey 100 anybody? Think he's an over short tbh. **** OFF MORKEL!
