I think the Dravid LBW was just outside leg. JUST. Had it gone the other way, it would have been a fair decision. Too close for me.

Is there a possibility of a cloud cover on the ground today as well. I want to see what Afridi has to say, in case there is one.

Is the pitch really that bad? If so why doesn't Ganguly just declare now and unleash their spinners on them?
well it certainly aint no ****hede in the OZ series.....but it is definately a spinner/cutter's paradise.....considering that Bhajji is an awesome 2nd innings bowler and Kumble is awesome in IND, i think PAK will have to bat outta their skin to save this....
Gangs i think wants another 30-40 runs in the pocket before declaring......a target of 340 MIGHT be attainable in 127 overs.......but 370-380 in 120 might be JUST outta reach for PAK....
IND and PAK always play 'safety first' when it comes to IND-PAK test series....because of the intense pressure and political overtones.....if Gangs sets a 2.6-2.7 rpo target and PAK gets it, you can bet 50 bucks that it would be the end of his captaincy.........a 3.1-3.2 rrpo would be just that much more harder.

Sachin should get the same consideration as any other batsman. If it is offered he can take, it if not play on. Where was all the complaing when Sachin didnt walk in the first test off a big nick, give it a rest.
Did u even read my post, Scally? I said both decisions he got were wrong (the one at Mohali, which benefitted him, included). And both were BIG mistakes as it was obvious that it was the other way around.

And Sachin should get more consideration. I know all batsmen should be treated as equal but in reality, it doesn't happen that way. IT is just like in any other sport, people trust some players' words more than others'. And Sachin has shown a lot of integrity most of the time. This is the first time he has reacted this way and given the pressure cooker situation of the match, the series and the fact that it is INd-Pak, he can be forgiven EASILY. My point has always been that Bucknor says that he made the bad decision because of the bad light, then WHY THE HELL did he not go off? The commentators, including Rameez and Sohail, kept mentioning how they have seen play called off in much better light.

All this proves that Bucknor sucks as an umpire. Even today, he didn't give Rahul LBW when he was almost plumb in front. The guy should be fired, plain and simple.

TEam India on their way to an absolute fantastic victory  I hope Jono had the chance to watch Dravid's and Karthick's innings to realise why India is such a great batting side and doesn't depend on Sehwag alone :)

Pakistan is going to suffer from a big big defeat here :p Chasing 300 would have been extremely difficlt for them but above 400 would be totally impossible.

Pakistan deserves to be losers, as Ajit Wadekar said that after second days play Pakistani batters were defensive as if their intention were to draw the match.Frankly there is a huge gap between the two sides in all three compartment of the game.

Go Pakistan, go down the barrel.

India one up!

Nnanden it was not just one odd game. He has been reported twice before by the Indian team and I think a couple more times he has been criticized for his fading senses.

I think Bucknor will have to do his absolute best to deny india. Maybe he will offer light tommorow in the morning to the pakistanis and end the match as a draw

He's not the best of umpires, was incompetenet in this match but enough has been said about him. He's incompetent but NOT A CHEAT, he gave wrong decisions that affect India but ISN"t AN INDIAN HATER.

Basically whenever Tendulkar is given out when he isn't actually out there is a big storm in India, the whole country looks to be in paranoid.

In any case India will still win the match and thanfully Sachin's dismissal isn't gonna effect Indias chances.
