I can see the advantage in setting up the highest run chase, but getting 2 wickets before the end of the day is of utmost importance.
I dont think Pakistan can <b>bat</b> for a draw even though they would like to play for a draw. As soon as you get into a defensive mode on this pitch, you are screwed.

Afridi couldn't bat a whole day of Test cricket. I doubt he'd even last a whole session on a day 5 pitch with Kumble and Harbhajan bowling.
