This comes from the proud being of the Pakistani and Indian fans of their own country. Thats why they talk them up although they are nearly that good as well...But only for some time ;)

actually, you'll find that arshad khan has better stats than all ur bowlers.

he has more wickets than every1 except nehra who has 11

you being an indian fan have absolutly no right to talk. They are the worst of the lot.


The amount of "superstars" that are playing domestic cricket atm is astounding. Every time a young player makes ONE decent score at international level, they become the next bradman. When india lose a match, it's because the other team were lucky. If a bowler from the other team takes alot of wickets, he was lucky and won't be around for long and is less talented than the indian bowlers..

it's all a load of tripe.

the pakistanis have always had the most talent i've felt. It's just been TOO much talent.

They decide to open wiht Butt and tafeeq. If one fails, they have so much talent, they chop and change with hameed, farhat etc.

Other teams dont have as much luxury, so they pick the talented ones, and persist for a while.

The fact that the subcontinental teams have alot of politics doesn't help. The coach not having a say in selections is not gd eitehr

Lakshmipathy balaji and Zaheer khan are both decent pacers. They just need some guidance and need heart.

not saying they will make any other international side, but if they had alot of heart, like rana, they would make quiet a few international sides.

I know this post is delayed and useless by now but I'll say it anyway. There are still several teams that outrank Pakistan as far as class and natural talent are considered. But IMO the qualities that make Pakistan a far superior side to many is the strategy, balance, attitude, and spirit they possess--not the extraordinary talent that you talk about. Yes, they're an extremely gifted bunch but not as much as you make it to be sir.

Ever heard of Balaji and Zaheer Khan 8-) .

BTW, some ppl were talking about Arshad Khan and comparing him with Bhajji, don't compare them on the basis of one series do that on the basis of ENTIRE career.By one series comparison even Afridi might end up looking a better batter than Sachin :@
