It is amazing that he bowled Sehwag for only 1 over and took him off though he gave away only 4 runs.

His use of Sehwag's bowling in the entire series has been pathetic.

Ganguly's mistakes as captain are galore. His coming in after Dhoni got out cost India minimum 20 runs.

For a change Manjraker raises a valid point in the commentry, IMO.
More and more sub-continent spinners these days tend to rely more on line, length and bounce rather than/alongside exuberant spin.

Although I can't see the match on TV, i'm sure there must be something wrong with Ganguly's field settings. Razzaq and Malik have put on 74 runs at a run a ball, and both have only hit one boundary each. Ganguly absolutely must force them to take risks, at this rate all it will require is a little flourish towards the end and Pakistan will get home easily. Having said that, I hope Pakistan will win, so don't change a thing.

At the end of 26 overs, Pakistan has played 65 dot balls and 75 singles, 6 twos and 3 threes. Thats 96 runs run out of 170 odd. Shows how badly Ganguly's strategy of just cutting boundaries and allowing them singles has backfired. They are taking 4 - 5 single minimum every over.

This is very sensible batting. Razzaq doing a Michael Bevan rather than a Shahid Afridi.
