not athlais stupid "67 part timers = 1 good bowler" theory again

small english grounds on roads = part timers bye bye, free 80 runs

if you need your #8 to do all the run scoring then your team sucks and you're not going to win the world cup anyway. example a is right in front of you.

As opposed to 315 with less batting?
If the difference between a Neesham/de Grandhomme 10 over spell and that of a proper bowler is only 15 runs then yeah, sweet. But it won't be and you know it. This World Cup will be about taking wickets and trying to keep teams to around 300. If you can't do that you'll finish nowhere. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they've decided that de Grandhomme's bowling won't be anywhere near good enough over there and therefore have decided already he's not going.

what are you talking about? They’re not going to be playing on rugby fields in England.

The interview Stead gave the other day bascially implied that CdG is a lock for the squad as he is the "incumbent".

Amazing how the momentum gets stalled every time after a Taylor-Latham partnership is ended.

Averages 29 with a SR of 105, that's good enough for a number 6 or 7.
Averages 40 with the bat at home though... and not really a big enough sample size of overseas games to be super critical yet. Had a pretty outstanding T20Blast too last year in English conditions.

Top fieldsman too, that drop the other day was about the first i've seen him put down.
