This is actually a fairly good idea. It'll never happen though. Imagine the improvement in balance we'd get if we had an opening bat who bowls, allowing a middle order of Latham, Nicholls, Neesham, Santner to sit comfortably above three bowlers. The major issues we've had with Colin de is he holes out under pressure - not a factor up front.
