*Official* India Tour of England 2018

Pandya needs to realize that his role as a 5th bowler is to keep the runrate at 2 RPO and pick a wicket if possible. NOT to try bowling bouncers, yorkers etc...leave that to the others. In 2007 when we were successful actually both Ganguly and Sachin bowled superbly and kept it tight.

P.S: Yaaaay for the free runout. Much needed.
Pandya is far too green to be playing test cricket right now. Maybe it he improves later.

350 would be a fair first innings score here; England are going to get a lot more than that.

Against the run of play.

350+ would be advantage England, they should get comfortably in excess of that TBF.

Right, that brings Miyagi's Buttler to the crease. Where is Miyagi? Has he started sleeping these days?

I don't think Curran, Rashid, Broad Anderson are going to score too many especially with Ashwin. Umesh and Shami bowl well to tailenders too. I think the difference between this team and the teams in 2011 and 2014 are that shoulders don't drop in the third session. They just gave up in series past.

Buttler gone...chance for India to restrict England to 300.

So good.

Regarding what would be par in first innings, England would have liked at least 400 plus here if not 450. 350 would be even. We can fold them before that now.

****ing classic present day England, unfortunately.

Fair play to India for keeping at it though.

@Cow Corner: yes we badly miss the 6th bowler. Currently, none of the batsmen can roll their arms if required. Nair can a bit.
