He gets a lot of hate because he's nowhere near as good with the bat as those Ranji triples had some people believe, or with the ball overseas as he is in India. I've been one of those haters, but have to agree he's better than fat Ashwin with the bat, more consistent with the ball, and adds a lot of value with his fielding.
