Lets just say he's a major contributor. and with respect to Cook as opposed to any of the others he's been appalling there a while. But it is a bit troublesome when their best slip fielder is the guy they keep dropping catches off.Is that purely Cooks fault?
The more you think about it, it is one of the more ****ed up test teams balance wise isn't it.cook is far from the biggest problem with england. their team is so weird. one of the openers isn't even capable of a ton on occassion like current cook, they have the new kid at 4, 2 keepers and dropped one of their 3 allrounders to fit this structure in.
with the players england have there are so many more sensible team structures than the one they chose.
Their keepers the second best batsman the vice captain is a keeper who doesn't keep but is playing as a specialist number 7, a spinner who barely bowls... Its all very odd.The more you think about it, it is one of the more ****ed up test teams balance wise isn't it.
it's like they let a cricket captain game pick the teamThe more you think about it, it is one of the more ****ed up test teams balance wise isn't it.
Did't see much of India but that's exactly how he bowled in Bangladesh. No real attention to how it comes out of the hand.Did Rashid bowl with as scrambled a seam in India? Guy seems to be just giving it a rip and hoping it lands the right way.
I believe he has always bowled scrambled seam. Most leg spinners bowl scrambled seem these days, not quite sure why, drift is surely more threatening than googlies in test cricket?Did Rashid bowl with as scrambled a seam in India? Guy seems to be just giving it a rip and hoping it lands the right way.
Been a few that have kept low and one or 2 that have bounced unexpectedly..... feels like a day 3 pitch.Pitch showing any signs of misbehaving? I think Ashwin will be required to do most of the heavy lifting this time around. I wouldn't really mind us batting even one more full day if that's what it takes for the wicket to deteriorate..
