Fine with the conservative approach tbh. If they get to 350 odd without much more damage, Pant, Rohit and the rest of the hack frauds can do some filthy slogging to up the rate.

Yeah Paine really shouldn't have had to dive for that, ideally that's an easy catch for first.

After a couple of overs this felt a 300-350 sort of day so keeping them to 210 is a decent effort. Still you'd have to say it's India's day. Next session key, this pitch does look flat but given how weak Australia's batting is scoreboard pressure will matter (obviously if we can dismiss them for 400-ish it'll probably be a 2017 redux)
