It’s astounding how well Bumrah is doing at test cricket, seeing as he was primarily a LOI bowler previously. It’s incredible that his current test average (24.56) is lower than his first class average (excl. tests) which is 25.34.
He's probably getting to bowl on more helpful wickets than he does at home in FC stuff.

He's been terrific tbh. Good to see blokes hitting the bat hard consistently. Been really impressed with his stamina too.

Yeah, been doing really well. Just scared he won’t last for a long time, considering how his action and lack of run up places a lot of strain on his body.

Has Lyon been getting his wickets through big turn, or has he been surprising batsmen with his bounce? Or is he beating them through the air?

You have to beat batsmen in the air to take wickets in Australia, 4th innings excepted on some occasions.

Anybody else not missing Warney on Foxtel?

The Warne Agenda:

- Starc is evil because he called my bluff back in 2012
- SWaugh is the "most selfish cricketer" because he dropped me back in 1999
- He preaches: "attack, attack, attack" in commentary, despite many times going around the wicket and bowling into the foot-marks to "bowl dry"
- Coaches, especially Buchanan, are superfluous...except if one of my mates can get a gig (especially in the IPL)
- Pup and Chappelli are Gods, and I love their philosophies...especially Chappelli's "attack, attack, attack", and his "coaches are vehicles you drive to the ground in" mantra
- We played hard, but fair...we knew where "the line" was....hence Hudson, Cullinan, Smith and countless others being abused and bullied

Not a shred of sympathy for Cullinan, bloke always had massive wraps on himself. Was always fun to see him get shown up by Warne and Australia in general

Oh, and Gilly is a colleague not a mate (and also not a good 'keeper) because he got in ahead of Chuck Berry, and gazumped me for the vice-captaincy

When you meet a person of below average intelligence you tend to ignore 90 per cent of the things they say.

Punter pushing for a Mitch Marsh recall
Punter would be a bigger disaster than the BNG as coach.
