He's hopeless keeping to spinners whenever I'm watching. I've probably seen him drop twice as many of those snicks as I've seen him catch.

Never understood where his reputation as a decent keeper to spinners comes from, but I guess it must be from somewhere.

You must be watching perilously few matches then??

He isn't the greatest wicketkeeper ever.. but he is good...

and oh, good keepers do drop some ye know...

Really.. I think he takes more than most keepers. Those are tougher than they look.. though he should have taken that last one.

Also, he's brilliant at stumpings, easily the best around IMHO.

Yeah, He is pretty good to spinners generally and pretty safe with pacers too.

Uppercut must have watched those matches where has not done well keeping to spinners by co -incidence or something and not watched most of the Indian home matches.

Bravo has played so many airy-fairy drives through off just eluding the fielders.. he has batted well but I think a packed off-side ring and asking him to drive constantly is the way to go against him.

Really.. I think he takes more than most keepers. Those are tougher than they look.. though he should have taken that last one.

Also, he's brilliant at stumpings, easily the best around IMHO.

He is pretty good at stumpings, doesn't give much away either. Does a great job at the death in ODIs.

My concerns over his keeping are consigned specifically to holding the edges off spinners. It's not that it's easy, it's just his job. It doesn't matter if he drops every other ball, so long as he stops it going for runs, but when the batsman gets a nick on it he needs to hold on. His positioning and technique should reflect that fact more than they do.
