Possibly! But IMO in cricket it's better to think in terms of a bowling attack versus a batsman rather than a one-on-one between a bowler and a batsman which is why I've never treated the commonly used (on CW) average against side when bowler A was playing very seriously either.Yep, good point. Still it says that Zaheer gets them out at about the same rate in terms of balls bowled per dismissal. Maybe they also have better partners to keep them away from the strike when Zaheer's bowling?
Yeah, but TBF it sort of worked for them in the last Test getting them off to a good start.Whether they would have been good enough otherwise is another issue entirely.
Simmons and Sarwan both got out playing extremely attacking strokes against India's best bowlers when new to the crease. The tactics were poor.
Agree wholeheartedly on that.Possibly! Must have got bored of watching Shiv bat.
If only there was some kind of ball-tracking system that could be used to assess mechanically whether it was likely that the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps. There has to be a way of overturning those in the England-India series. Otherwise the DRS system becomes a nonsense.

Ahh, if only.
There was a period where he was pretty much ONLY bowling it. Now it has gone the other way.Thats a very bad decision. And can somebody tell me why has harbhajan stopped bowling doosra?
