Kumble should be used to it, by now.

Murali has been sucking it up for years.

Umpires have really become strident on the lbw's, unless it really is plumb they are not going to give it.

I was sure that the umpire was going to call a No ball as soon as Munaf bowled him. But I guess that would have been too obvious.

So all we need are 10 people bowled.....take the umpires out of the equation.

Time to watch the prince smoke bowling, it will be the only time until the world cup final that i'll be watching a cricket match over football.

Or you need to have LBW appeals that are actually out.

Munaf just smoked your prince.
SS, why did you make a subdued response to Neil? Just saw you edited that.

The point of lbws and cricket in general is that it's biased toward batsmen. If there's any doubt at all, it's supposed to go to the batsmen. The problem with spinners is that there is usually more doubt that with seamers, especially if the batsman is pushing forward.

But it also means Munaf Patel is bowling well...

118-3?

No thanks. I WANT him to bowl well, but I doubt he will do it throughout. And even if he does, he won't get enough support to take twenty wickets. Which is what I said they wouldn't be able to do...and in three tests so far, they haven't been able to do.

No thanks.
Look at how he bowled in the spell right before lunch.
Don't be ridiculous and say he wasn't bowling well. 8-)

No one is even saying he is a good bowler or that he's consistent. All that is being said is that he bowled well right before lunch. I await your justification otherwise.
