Makes sense when you’re surrounded by Hetmyer, Gayle, Lewis, the explosive Pooran, Pollard and Russell.I think it’s a clear team strategy for him to just bat through without taking risks.
He should be playing more aggressively after the 40th though surely.
Because he actually isn’t good on pitches that offer good assistance to bowlers. Most of his centuries for instance have been on flat decks.Seeing as he's so stable and solid and steady, and actually a touch slow, it's a wonder he ended up complete crap in tests. One of the most disappointing let downs I can ever remember.
