I think I agree that the Sundar + Axar combination is better than playing Jadeja in this format, as treasonous as it is for me to say that.

The biggest drawback is Jaddu doesn't bowl in the powerplays and with this sort of a bowling set up, we need one or two of our spinners to be able to bowl in the PP.

I would honestly open the bowling with Sundar and Chahar in that best case XI. With Hardik and Bumrah to bowl an over each to finish the 6 in the PP.

How has Sundar done in IPL with the bat? Don't know if he has the higher gear, something Axar has shown he has. Although Axar is quite inconsistent so will not bat higher than #8 for me.

I will not go with either Axar or Jadeja at this point. Both their t20 bowling has fallen off but there doesnt seem to be much choice at this point. Sundar if taken should purely be taken on bowling basis. He is not a T20 bat and cannot hit from ball one.

Hardik at 7 and Thakur/Chahar at 8 gives the batting depth. Kuldeep should be at 10 as the frontline spinner. Has been very good in T20s recently. Second spinner should be Sundar at 9 but only if his bowling is up to the mark. He has rarely been bowling even in FC nowadays. Bumrah and Siraj take up 10 and 11.

Agree fully except for Thakur's inclusion.

Yeah a bowler who can hit like Thakur would be a great addition but his actual bowling is just too putrid in this format to justify it. He gets #punished way too often. Good option as cover in a Test squad but shouldn't play T20Is for India unless he's good enough to bat 7 which I don't really think he is.

Kohli will be the worst one but I’m sure there’s more

Fun to everyone on Sat & Sunday❤

In the last two T20Is played in Lauderhill, India - batting first both times - posted 191 for 5 and 188 for 7. They won both. In fact, teams batting first
