Dravid should give Agarkar one more over to show that he has faith in his bowling and beleives he can do the job. If he is too expensive in that over then bring on Pathan. Herschelle Gibb's playing some very attacking cricket in an attempt to wrest the advantage back to South Africa.

That would be stupid. Agarkar has been bowling too full for the last two overs, which gives Gibbs the chance to attack. Zaheer on the other hand is bowling like McGrath today, everything good length and not giving Loots a chance at anything.

Anyway Pathan on for Agarkar.

In that situation I think Rahul Dravid should have gone to his bowler and just had a few words to him about pulling back his length and not allowing Gibb's to get on the front foot. Atleast give Agarkar a chance to pull it back and try and bowl to his potential, thats one of the problems with this Indian team I feel. They don't really inspire any confidence in each other and the bowling attack lacks direction and leadership.

The thing is, hes ruining the best start India had in a while. I'm sure Dravid would have given him another over if the situation was different and South Africa wasn't 0-2.

Pathan starts off good with a Md.

Fair enough I suppose, anyway Irfan Pathan rewards Dravid's bowling change with a solid maiden to Herschelle Gibbs. Loots Bosman only needs 8 runs to have 200 ODI runs in what is a promising start to his international career.

The ONLY question is WHY did it take Dr. Chappell the moron and Dravid so long - and so many failures and stupid experiments - to bring back Zaheer. And when will these guys bring back VVS ?

Zaheer's bowling has to be the best by an Indian bowler in a long time - amazing spell.

Zaheer Khan bowling absolutely beautifully, 3/9 of 6 is excellent work especially considering he claimed the scalps of top players like Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis. Bosman will be disappointed in the shot he played really, hoping for AB de Villiers to score a few runs and show everyone the class he posesses.

Politics is the reason why a lot of Indians who should be in the side arent in the side, and those who shouldnt be are in the side.

Irfan Pathan claims the big wicket of Herschelle Gibbs after being pulled away for four earlier in the over. South Africa are 42/4 after 12 overs, what great bowling by the Indian pacers- Agarkar excluded although he should be able to come back well and claim a few wickets later in the innings. Poor direction from Gibbs really, now Boucher and de Villiers are in the middle together to try and negotiate this great bowling.

Zaheer was bowling tripe when he got dropped in Pakistan. He went back to England, worked on his bowling and fitness and came back strong. He got a call-up at pretty much the right time; if anything, you can say he should've been back for the Champions Trophy but I think they wanted him to have a domestic match.

As for Laxman, India have been trying out Raina, Kaif and Mongia for a while now. Now that at least Raina seems to have failed, Laxman should be automatic. In fact, he should've been automatic the moment Yuvraj was injured. Before that, he should have been in the team but it wasn't "automatic"; one can see what they were trying with someone like Raina. As honestbharani said some days ago, the team management should realize that athletic fielding cannot make up for a lack of class with the bat.

On another note, welcome back JustTool. Been a while. 8-)

Guessing Khan will take a rest after this over. He has bowled 7 overs 4-9-3. Amazing figures.
