"Before the current second test against India, Graeme Smith's team won only two of the 12 tests they played under Arthur's coaching; both in home matches against New Zealand.

They lost eight times and drew with Australia and New Zealand. "

Thats a pretty shoddy record for a side with decent bowling.

Well I'm not denying that he was out, just pointing out that the commentators barely mentioned the calls that went against India yesterday. Bias shining through IMO.
Yet by the same token, the first time the Laxman and Dhoni decisions were mentioned was well after they happened, and certainly wasn't by any of the people who were stressing previously about umpiring decisions...

Jaffer Gambhir in next match. If sehwag plays I will seriously go rioting on the streets. He maybe avg over 50, but he's out of form like crazy
At least Sehwag has talent, I'm really not sure what to think of this VRV Singh fellow.. Maybe you can get his effigy free when you buy Sehwag's

I, honestly, don't believe Sehwag should be out for the third test. Instead let's have him not face the new ball and put him down the order instead of having him open. We can have Ganguly open instead or even Dhoni. I mean, our opening pair can't get any worse than it is now.

Also, unless Jaffer makes a century and/or somehow saves the Test for India, he should be replaced by Gambhir. Also, Gambhir is miles better than Jaffer in fielding.

Marc. Do you read before you post? Like seriously, you should. Once Dhoni was given not out, I said this crap decision makes up for some of the decision against the Indian earlier. And I was the one going around cursing at the umpires for their decisions against the Indians

Sometimes I wonder, how many of those 47,000 posts you actually made while reading through what everyone had to say before giving in your comment.

Yeah I don't get him either. I can't figure out, is he a stock bowler, or a strike bowler. Because if he's a stock bowler, he's one ****e stock bowler, and if he is a strike bowler, he is one ****e strike bowler.

He can bowl straight without any movement in the air or off the pitch at the express pace (by our standards) of 136kph.

So yea, he isn't even worth burning. I have no idea what he brings to the table, except free runs.

Gee, you guys sure do big up your team don't you? Burning effigies, et al. Fantastic. Wish you were at the ground rather than those bloody twits who go and support India at Durban all the time.

dravid has been seriously unlucky this match....at a time when we desperately needed him....could make the difference between a draw and a defeat...

You underestimate the ability of the Indian batsman to snatch defeat from the jaws of safety, me thinks.
no proper indian fan would ever do that...they know their team....:)

I think the worst thing India/Sachin can do on day 5 is to go on the defensive. That has never worked for them. They need to play their natural game.

Being positive is fine by me, as long as it doesn't turn into Dhoni at Mumbai idiocy personified.

yes...especially now that dravid is out of the picture, the indians need to not try and just survive out there, that's the surest way to lose....if they can bat in a fairly positive manner and draw this, it would be a huge psychological boost going into the 3rd test, the chances of that happening are very slim however....
